Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pop's playing Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March ...

LPR believes however good the John Wilson Orchestra  (JWO) is, it can't play this Elgar better than Fiedler and the Boston Pops.  LPR suggests that on its American Tour -- it should only happen -- the JWO shows that no other orchestra can play Sousa marches better, including The Stars and Stripes Forever (a Fiedler/Boston Pops tradition).

"Mame" -- American sound with British performers

Once, again, LPR also links to the best rendition of "Mame" LPR has heard, by the John Wilson orchestra, the Maida Vale singers and, at the end, Maestro Wilson's troupe of singers for the 2012 BBC Proms, including American singer Sierra Boggess (in violet)  and the U.K.'s fabulous Anna Jane Casey (in black).\

Another Link to a Sierra/Julian Video...

This starts with "The Heather on the Hill" from Brigadoon, with Sierra and Julian accompanied by piano.  The video might lead to others, so don't click off after the end of Heather. LPR believes that Brigadoon would be perfect for a Broadway Repertory Theatre comparable to the Met.  It might not make it as a revival on its own, but LPR is convinced that its inclusion with other Broadway musicals would bring a full house every performance.

This song should have every Trump person tapping away to 2024...

And by the way, isn't Anna Jane Casey wonderful and shouldn't  she star in a Broadway revue,  with John Wilson, his orchestra, and entire troupe, once the lights return to min-Manhattan?
