December 5, 2022 --

The following is from Matthew Boyle at Breitbart, November 28:

"Several top conservatives are warning that if House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy, the Republican nominee for Speaker of the House, does not win the speakership election on the floor of the House on Jan. 3, 2023, a “doomsday scenario” could emerge where Democrats undercut GOP power.

"In such a scenario, concerns are rising that so-called moderate—or establishment Republicans—are willing to band together to make a deal with the Democrats to elect a moderate Republican as speaker with Democrat votes in exchange for a House rules change that hands the incoming Democrat minority significant power over how subpoenas can be issued."

LPR's response -- who says Mr. McCarthy is a MAGA Republican (conservative populist in the Trump mold? For the Freedom Caucus to back McCarthy for speaker, he should agree to preside over the House as a chairman of the (political board) with his top aides MAGA Republicans to ensure that the party of the permanent attemtped coup against Republican rule -- the Democrats -- don't sandbag the GOP House majority.

And Republican who would work with the coup-attempt party to undermine the GOP House majority should be ousted from the House Republican Conference. The American people did not vote for a House of Representatives with a Republican majority so that the likes of Adam Smith, Jamie Raskin and Zoe Lofgren should undermine the will of the people.

After restoring the committee assignments of Representatives Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor-Greene, the Republicans should bring charges against Rep. Adam Shiff in the House Ethic Committee for conduct unbecoming a representative, including conspiring to overthrow the legitimate president of the United States by a campaign, still ongoing, of lies and columny.

Mere exclusion from service on a committee of the House of Representatives is not appropriate punishment for a member found guilty by the ethics committee of serial, ongoing violation of the House Rules and conspiracy against the president. If found guilty of such charges, Adam Schiff's membership in the House of Representatives is an insult to the memory of the Founding Fathers, and a stain on the integrity of this legislative chamber.
