The New York Times, home of the Trump-colludes-with-Russia-Big-Lie is intent on making a Big Thing out of the "deceits" of Rep.George Santos. If honest reporting were sine qua non in journalism, The New York Times would have been closed down years ago.

Certain Facts Relating to Donald J. Trump, the Democrats are Trying Assiduously to Cover Up

The American people should know that the responsibility for Capitol Hill Security. January 6, 2021, lay with the leaders of Congress, NOT the president.

The President of the United States has the authority to declassify government secrets. This authority is not given to the vice president. The classified documents allegedly mishandled by Mr. Biden were documents that were vice presidential documents, not presidential documents.

Accordingly, unlike Mr. Trump, Biden never had authority to declassify the classified documents over which he retained custody after his vice presidential term was over, January 20, 2017 -- when he began giving aid and comfort to the movement to hamstring or overthrow President Donald J. Trump.

Accordingly, Biden, not Mr. Trump, deserves scrutiny for mishandling vice presidential documents he held onto after his vice presidential term ended.

LPR's added note: Republicans, why aren't you making clear these very significant differences to the American people?
