NYT on Political Humor

By the way, a Times article, January 25, suggested that the anti-Trump FBI officials, Peter Strzok and Lisa page, were just joking when they referred to a "secret" group in the FBI. The Times is, of course, unwilling to ever credit President Trump with a sense of humor -- as when he suggested, about 33,000 missing Hillary Clinton emails, that perhaps the Russians could find them. That offhand comment seems to have served the Never Trumpers as the excuse to construct the Russiagate scenario, a scenario without end, apparently.

On Partisan Bickering

Former CIA station chief Daniel HOffman, writing on the op-ed page of The Wall Street Journal, January 29, thinks that Democrats and Republicans ought to focus on Russia President Putin who Hoffman believes is trying "to undermine American's political system." But what of the Never Trump campaign to overthrow the Trump Presidency?
