LPR Advice to Political Candidates:

Retain consultants on a contingency basis -- they get paid only if you win.

LPR Advice to Voters:

Don't vote for a candidate who needs a consultant to bridge the gap between the candidate and you.

LPR Political Prediction Possibilities

1) Hillary Clinton will not be nominated for president in 2016; if nominated she will not be elected; if elected, the title of the office will be changed to "Clinton of the United States."

2) Gov. Chris Christie will not get the Republican nomination for president in 2016. This is not to say that he will not get the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016.

3) The American government, transformed by 2016, will be under the direction of a triumvirate consisting of Michael R. Bloomberg, Bill Gates and Goldman Sachs.

Being Mayor of New York Is a Terrific Investment

Michael R. Bloomberg had, LPR believes, assets of some 7 billion dollars when he was elected mayor in 2001 and has more than tripled his wealth during his 12 years in office. LPR has a hunch that this return has gone unnoticed by Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio.

"The Bullies Are Winning"

This headline, over a New York Post column by Karol Markowicz, October 21, discussed the bullying of children. At first glance, LPR wondered if this column was about the success of the Left in pushing Republicans around.

What a Difference Being President Makes

President Obama has called for raising the ceiling on the national debt. Senator Obama, March 16, 2006, opposed an increase in the debt ceiling, suggesting , in part, that this would place unfair burdens on our children and grandchildren. LPR has a hunch that Tea Party people (TPP) making a similar arguments against raising the debt ceiling are denoun ced as extremiosts by backers of President Obama. Speaking of the Tea Party, the left has been ratcheting up denunciations of TPP -- see, for example, a Leftists illustration depicting the "T" in Tea Party as a burning cross. Perhaps the anti-Tea Party Leftists regard themselves as moderate because they haven't accused TPP of poisoning wells or commiting ritual murders -- yet.
