Bravo to Gon. Ron DeSantis...

...on sending 50 illegal migrants to Martha's Vineyard for eliciting the hypocrisy of the wealthy- left by their protests at the thought that the people they allow to flout our immigration laws should appear in their backyard. This convinces LPR that Gov. Ron must be nominated for vice president on the Republican national ticket, in 2024, to be chief of political operations, with responsibility for completing the drainage work on The Swamp begun by President Trump, in 2017.

For president, LPR strongly recommends a second term for Citizen Trump, Should Mr. Trump choose retirement in 2024, LPR is convinced that former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will, as head of state, be a highly qualified presidential alternative to Donald J. Trump.

GOP Turncoat Adam Kinzlinger was quoted in The New York Times, August 29:

"Some of the [former] president's biggest cheerleaders -- Marjorie Taylor Greene , 
Jim Jordan -- have gone kind of silent ."

MTG, Jim -- if House Republicans had stood  in solidarity with Donald J. Trump  the Resistance, which is now licking its chops, wouldn't have even got the Mueller diversion which, of course, was based on
a lie promoted by the anti-liberty segment of the American people.   Stand with Mr. Trump, NOW AND ALWAYS!

LPR proposes a political neologism

Paulryanism: the refusal to defend a presidential candidate, or president, or former president, of one's own political party, leaving him to face, all alone, political zealots who intend not only his destruction, but that of your party as well.

The Speaker's Silence

Nancy Pelosi should be referred to as speaker of House Democrats, not as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

She would have qualified for the half title by virtue of her partisan handling of the January 6 select committee.   Now, her silence concerning the seizure by the FBI of the cellphone of Rep. Scott Perry, chair of the House Freedom Caucus, makes it clear beyond the shadow of a doubt that she has relinquished her responsibilites as House speaker to be speaker merely of the rabid, rancid Demorats out to destroy the GOP.

Cleaning the FBI Stables

FBI Director Wray must go by sundown for tolerating political bias (a/k/a undue process of law) at his agency, along with all those FBI agents who pushed the lie that the Hunter Biden laptop matter was a Russian ruse, leading to the censoring of the New York Post disclosure of this alleged scandal.

Gov. Hogan -- a Liz Cheney Republican

The following is taken from a Washington  Times story of August 28:

"Gov. Larry Hogan said Sunday that President Biden equating Republican policies with fascism was “divisive” and inappropriate — even if, the Maryland Republican said, there is a streak of authoritarianism within the GOP.

"Mr. Hogan is one of former President Donald Trump’s harshest critics and has signaled he may mount a bid for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

“'It’s that kind of divisive rhetoric on both sides that’s really bad for America. I’ve been talking about the toxic politics and if Republicans are calling Democrats socialists and communists and we have the president of the United States calling Republicans fascist, I don’t think it adds to the overall discussion,” he said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.'”

LPR has several problems with Hogan's perspective.   The GOP does NOT have "a streak of authoritarianism." And the Democrats are either socialists, communists -- or even Stalinists in their aim to stamp out liberty in America.  As for Hogan's presidential hopes:  Hogan - Cheney, there's NOT the ticket.
