LPR Is Taking A Sabbatical Of Sorts.

April 25, 2018 --

But this quick note: The May 12 date for President Trump's decision on the Iran nuclear arms deal occurs on the 70th anniversary of the May 12, 1948 confrontation between Secretary of State George Marshall and Truman aide Clark M. Clifford, at a meeting with President Truman.

Marshall made clear his opposition to U.S. recognition of the Jewish state that was coming into existence with the end of the British mandate for Palestine, May 15, 1948. And so, if would be fitting indeed if President Trump takes action against Iran, which opposes the Jewish State of Israel, as it would also represent a rebuff to the powerful Washington insiders who, going back to Secretary Marshall, have had difficulty with Israel's existence.
