Word that special counsel Robert Mueller intended to bring an indictment, Monday, October 30, leaked out on Friday, October 27. Wall Street Journal columnist Strassel, in her July 7, 2017 column, "Washington's Leak Mob," ended with this observation: "Mr. Mueller is sitting astride a leak crime wave, run by a bureaucratic underworld that is happy to harm U.S. interests if it mains a president."

Strassle added that Mueller can spend four years on "Trump hearsay and innuendo" or could "rein in the lawbreakers and restore some calm to the Capitol and the media."

LPR dounbts that Never Trumpers are interested in restoring "some calm" as long as Donald J. Trump is president.
