"Nasty" State Prosecutors in
Wisconsin Permitted to Continue
Probing Conservatives

October 1, 2014 --

An editorial in The Wall Street Journal, September 27-28, "Mugged in Milwaukee," noted that a three-judge federal court lifted a preliminary injunction that kept state prosecutors in Wisconsin from investigating conservative groups.

The leftist media has reported the prosecutors' accusations against the conservatives and Governor Scott Walker, as if they were established fact. The Wall Street Journal has a different take, suggesting that the probe is a partisan attempt to suppress political activity, including campaign fund-raising, by conservatives in Wisconsin.

The editorial concludes by noting: "an injustice...continue[s] in Wisconsin."
